Our Mandate
The Heart’s Content Community Development Corporation is a registered charity organized to further develop Heart's Content as a historic destination. Working with the Town and the Mizzen Heritage Society, our mandate is to secure private and public funding for projects designed to enhance our world-class heritage potential.
In 2021, with funding from ACOA and govNL, we developed a Heritage Interpretive Framework and Landscape Concept to identify our historical themes and how they can best be presented and enjoyed by residents and visitors.
In 2023, with the Mizzen Heritage Society and funding from CBDC, we completed
a Visitor Experience Plan which includes a redesign and renovation of the Mizzen Museum.
